The Lincoln County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is made up of agencies and citizens from each community within the County.

The membership includes Federal, State & Local officials, Emergency Fire & Medical Responders, Health Care Workers, Law Enforcement Officers, Search & Rescue Members, Media Personnel, School Officials, Utility Company Personnel and Personnel from each of the three 911 Dispatch Centers.

This committee is responsible for input, review and approval of all aspects of Emergency Planning within Lincoln County. The LEPC meets monthly with meetings held in libby & Eureka. 


The LEPC Mission is to provide resources and guidance through education, coordination, and assistance with all hazards planning, to assure public health and safety through a partnership of state and local government, responders, and the private sector.

Meeting Schedule

The Lincoln County LEPC meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 2:00pm at the Libby City Council Chambers located in City Hall. 

** For the Months of March, June, September, and December we will meet in Eureka at the Glacier Bank Community Room
